Michael Trei is much more than the title of this post may elude to. In addition to being a Stereophile staff writer, columnist and reviewer, he also has an extremely long history with high fidelity audio that spans nearly his entire life. From retail sales in both the UK and NY, global sales, installer, and even turntable setter-upper – Michael knows audio from nearly every angle.

This week on The Occasional Podcast, Michael Trei sits down to discuss HiFi in all its glory, the good, bad and distorted. His passion for audio appears obvious as he walks through his days selling Brit-Fi to the closing of Sound & Vision Magazine. Some in the industry might have as many years, but very few have seen the diversity that Michael has.
