An Interview With Focal Naim America, Plus Bes Nievera From Music Direct
This week PartTimeAudiophile’s hifi-centric The Occasional Podcast got a chance to interview a very interesting set of individuals from the audiophile realm. Romain Vet of Focal Naim America and Bes Nievera of Music Direct both appear on the show, dropping their individual color commentary to the current state of things.
Focal Naim America have branched off into new directions in the past 5 years, keep up with the changing times and also revisiting old products like the Naim Solstice Turntable. Romain stops by the show to give the skinny on some of the thinking behind this year’s crop of new products, as well as some of the thoughts on future products.
Bes Nievera is an industry veteran with more than 40 years of hifi experience in sales, service, and brand representation. Also a seasoned DJ, Bes hosted a Jazz show on WDBC 90.9 FM in Chicago for many years. He shares some of his favorite stories, recommendations and gear options in his second appearance on the show.
The Occasional Podcast has just launched into their seventh season.
