Axe Leather Co. – NAMM 2017
Here at Audio-Head we have a soft spot in our hearts for many things. Of this laundry list of positive affinity, hand-crafted leatherwork, start-up companies and even guitar-shredding rocker chicks are very near the top of the list. Hidden back on a corner plot in “the loud hall – D” at NAMM there was a company that also embodied the crossroads of these unique three traits.
Axe Leather Company was recently founded by musician Violet Heart as a new endeavor that taps into both her love of leather and the utility that is the soul of the guitar strap. Available in a wide swath of colors, each strap is handmade by Violet and harnesses the craftsmanship that only bespoke products like hers can offer. Axe Leather Guitar Straps come in 3 variants: classic, eyelets and rings, and can be constructed from suede or leather on either side. Most of the product on hand featured a popular arrangement of dark leather with a colored suede interior, but any number of aesthetic arrangements can be constructed to specifications.
