Amazon’s Prime day is now upon us with a slew of new deals for products across the board. The one day group of specials is akin to a Black Friday event that lasts for 30 hours, with loads of deals that pop up for a short time starting at 9PM Eastern on Monday, July 10. We’ve collected a few of the most prominent offers in audio for the special day here. There are a lot of bargains to be had in general tech, with a few interesting budget options for audio. Keep you eyes peeled to this post to see all the new bargains as they appear, rumor has it that there will be a few good ones specifically targeted at audiophiles before the day is done.
One of the most convenient tools for listening to music on the market currently is the Amazon Echo. With its voice activated song retrieval included with Prime there is a whole lot to love in the name of ease of use. While recent developments have appeared to scale back the track availability for the newest chart topping hits, a huge backlog of more “historical” cuts are ready and waiting. For those looking for a more full feature music service from the device, Amazon also offers its Music Unlimited service, now at .99 for four months to start. You can see our review of the sound quality from the Echo and Tap here, with links to the Echo product page here and the smaller Dot version which works great as a source (both discounted for the event).
One of the big highlights is obviously the rare appearance of the ELAC Floorstanders. For a more detailed look at all the deals check out the deals page, or for more audio (including a ton more bluetooth IEMs and speakers) check out the “Techies” search parameter.
Let us know if you see anything worth mentioning pop up and we will be sure to add it to the list! Much more to come on this front so stay tuned to this post.
