Zack Snyder’s Justice League Score Coming To Vinyl In 7 LP Box Set
There is a niche for almost anything in music. If musical scores on vinyl are your thing, then look no further than the collection of wares currently available at Mondo – the comic, movie and game site has a surprisingly large collection of motion picture soundtracks on vinyl. And starting on Tuesday, April 14 at Noon CST that includes Zack Snyder’s Justice League score, straight from the 4-hour marathon streaming event which rabid fans pulled from the clippings on the cutting room floor.
For those who aren’t familiar with the movie/HBO stream, the theatrical remix expands greatly from the original DC Comics’ Justice League release, and embodies Mr. Snyder’s full original vision before he was unexpectedly pulled away from the movie and Joss Whedon picked up the reins. After fans voiced their curiosity as to “what could have been”, the movie studio pumped in millions of additional budget for another swing at an Avenger’s-style collaboration between multiple movie plot lines.
The score on this release is by Tom Holkenborg, who also produced the Mad Max: Fury Road soundtrack (and the remix of Elvis Presley’s A Little Less Conversation). Originally shelved along with the first movie, the limited edition 7 LP musical journey is fully realized as a collectable piece. Black, white and silver foil decorate the box and there is laser etching on the B-Side of the final disc.
Pre-order for the Zach Snyder Justice League Score starts on April 14 at Noon CST. Retail price for the 7 LP soundtrack is $200.

If you are really looking for something off the beaten path, you might want to check out the soundtrack for the comic-based cult classic Josie and the Pussycats on 180 gram neon purple. Expected to ship in July to celebrate the film’s 20 year anniversary, the LP features 12 songs from the faux group and dives into the movie’s satire-heavy reality with the included random-color 7-inch – loaded with two songs from the story’s short-lived, boy band counterparts DuJour.
