All The Holiday Headphone News In 10 Videos

Holiday Headphone News

If you closely follow high fidelity personal audio, there is a chance you keep an eye out for all the new holiday product releases that poke out around October and November. We have corralled 10 videos from YouTube that help give a clear picture of what one might expect for the upcoming buying season, along with several collaborations between YouTube personalities and headphone special editions.

The first up is a video shot by ZMF headphones of their room at a recent audio show. The company is known for their bespoke wood-adorned headphones that land anywhere between $1k to $4k. Found Zach has a penchant for exotic woods and some of the latest round feature a very cool RedHeart Limited Edition colorway.

Next up is a new headphone from YouTuber Douglas Stephens (DMS). It has a somewhat unusual look to it, but offers some unique styling on the external bits.

Another YouTube reviewer has a collaboration with HarmonicDyne, this time it’s ZeosPantera (Z Reviews) with the HarmonicDyne x Z Reviews: Eris headphone.

The next video is from a company who has earned a lot of respect over the years for producing very good sounding headphones, not just at a flagship price point, but also sub $300. The Classic 99 from Meze was one of our favorite headphones in this price range when it came out, and still holds that title today for the most part (it has a few variations out now). Designer Antonio Meze gets the video treatment and shares some of the latest news coming out of his camp for the buying season with the MEZE 105 AER.

Woo Audio has a new flagship they just unveiled a few weeks ago in the form of the 20th anniversary WA24. This tube headphone amplifier takes on some of the new aesthetic from the WA23 but puts on even power with bigger tubes and hefty casework.

YouTube also caught up with Justin Webber of ampsandsound and some of his tube amplifier designs. Justin’s work spans a few models with plenty of old-school-cool designs. Along with the headphone gear, ampsandsound also produces some pretty high end two channel amps, and made to order loudspeakers as well.

For a slightly smaller footprint, JDS Labs is updating their computer complement all-in-one headphone amplifier to a new generation called the Element 4. The top features a big knob that is common among computer desktop and gaming options.

In the final YouTube(er) collaboration, Ferrum Audio has partnered with YT personality Goldensound for the Goldensound edition of the Ferrum Wandla DAC. The update features some additional functionality and interesting accoutrements for headphone listening.
