Today Focal announced a new successor to the popular Focal Clear headphone. The new Focal Clear Mg utilizes a new dome material of Magnesium in the driver system, and keeps the pricing the same as the previous generation.
Focal’s lineup on the headphone side is very robust. From the flagship Utopia to the Arche DAC/headphone amplifier, the company has built out something that covers all the bases for the high end of the headphone game. Like most all of Focal’s products, the open back Focal Clear Mg is made in France – this model is constructed of leather and aluminum with microfiber cloth on the ear pads. The unique colorway for the Focal Clear Mg is “chestnut tones with metal accents”. More from the press release:

The Focal Clear Mg will become available this month, with retail pricing set at $1,490.
