AXPONA Announces New Dates For 2021

AXPONA 2021 dates and pricing.

The audio show circuit in the US (and abroad) is slowly putting things together for the upcoming year. The certainty of those conventions is of course highly susceptible to the impact of the ongoing pandemic, but big events like Chicago’s AXPONA take a lot of planning and lead up to execute. This week the show announced its new dates for AXPONA 2021.

Showrunner Liz Miller is back at the helm for AXPONA 2021, with the same location as 2019 confirmed at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center just outside of Chicago, IL. The show is usually held in early April, but in order to allow the most time for relocation, AXPONA will now take place August 27 – 29, 2021. Full press release below.

As the world continues to navigate the challenges of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we at AXPONA are focused on 2021 and making plans with the health and safety of our exhibitors, attendees and press in mind.  Given the continued unpredictability and the expectation that restrictions on travel and large gatherings may continue into early next year, we do not believe it would be wise to hold AXPONA in April 2021.  We asked the Renaissance Schaumburg for later dates in the calendar year that could accommodate our entire event and we are pleased to announce our new dates will be August 27 – 29, 2021.

The August dates offer many benefits, and most importantly, they give us all valuable time.  Events require months of planning for exhibitors, attendees, vendors and show organizers.  The extra four months will give us all more time to gauge the progression of COVID-19 through the upcoming fall and winter seasons, along with potential medical treatment breakthroughs, to learn from other trade shows and conventions that are held in the first half of 2021 and to evaluate all the new safety protocols and technologies that will be developed in the months to come to safely reopen venues and live events around the world. We want all exhibitors and attendees to be more comfortable with traveling safely to AXPONA and adjusting to the new normal in 2021.

Exhibiting companies and attendees do not need to take any action with the new dates, as everything will automatically transfer to August.  If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at any time or visit www.axpona.com for event updates.

We send our heartfelt thoughts to those that have been adversely affected by COVD-19.  We look forward to bringing the audio community together once again next August 27 – 29, 2021 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Sincerely,
