Our friends at pt.AUDIO have recently released their latest round of merch, and just in time for the holiday season. The latest custom record weight, etched with the PT “Roundel” on top, has been plated in 24k gold. The extremely limited holiday run started its life as the 800g “Copper” but was plated and finished in the USA for widespread consumption.
The top of the weight also doubles as a 45 adapter, and is intended to provide stabilization for turntable vibrations along with a flattening effect for slightly warped records. It is a great fit for the direct drive Technics 1200G and new 1300, and offers some pretty spectacular conversation starter for friends, I would assume.
